Savannah is a unique tourist destination. There are several ways to get from Savannah Hilton Head International Airport to downtown Savannah. You'll find nearly ten car rental agencies in the airport's baggage claim area. Chatham Area Transit (CAT) runs buses from the airport to various locations in Savannah. The official shuttle service is K-Shuttle: it runs regularly from the airport to various locations in the Savannah area. Getting around Savannah – public transportation

Chatham Area Transit (CAT) is a great way to explore Savannah and see all of its interesting sights. It is a bus system that connects the downtown historic district to many other locations in the greater Savannah area. There are individual fares and day passes that offer unlimited rides all day long. The system also offers a free shuttle around downtown and a free ferry. It is a convenient form of public transportation that is not expensive; it is environmentally friendly; and passengers can sit back and relax, forget about the hassle of driving and trying to find a parking spot.
